I had built myself a module with 2 DiMarzio 36th anniversary PAFs, one volume and a 3way toggle switch. It worked extremely well and was easy to assemble. There are a few things to have an eye on - for example the length of the PU-screws (max. 20mm) or the depth of the poti. And also that the PUs should be f-spaced ones. But it all worked out perfectly.
